Shona has been a Beaver Leader at 2nd Ifield since the Beaver Colony started in 1995, when she was persuaded to come along and help for an hour a week! Both her boys were on the waiting list and have since been through all the Sections of the Group.  She has enjoyed Scouting ever since and completed her wood badge in 2000. Shona has also helped with Cub Camps and Group Camps over the years. Shona has discovered kayaking in recent years and has been on several water camps and regularly attends the weekly sessions at Tilgate Lake in the summer.

Kerry Pearson

Kerry joined the Brownies in 1985 moving onto Guides and finally Rangers in Portsmouth before leaving for University to study for a Degree in Archaeology. This was followed by 4 years of living in Spain and Greece before moving back to the UK and arriving in Ifield. After starting her family Kerry wanted to return to scouting and be more involved in the local community.

Karen has been involved with the group for 10 years or so, She has been a member of Active Support Unit as well as being on the Supporters Committee and the Executive Commitee. Her 2 children have been members of the group since starting as Beavers. In her younger days she was a Guide and a Ranger Guide, and a Young Leader with a Brownie Pack.

Marrianne Corney

Marrianne has been a supporter of the Group for many years as a Parent and became a leader with Beavers in October 2013 to support the existing leadership team. Marrianne's whole family are active members of the Group supporting fundraising events, organising additional events and partaking in the various activities offered by the Scout Group.

Mary Eastman

Mary grew up in Surrey being Brownie, Guide, Guide Cadet and Guide leader. She re-joined the movement to help provide back up support to Venture Scouts and then Explorer Scouts when they were travelling abroad including their latest trip to Sweden in 2014. Mary supported her husband when he was Group Scout Leader and then Group Chairman, both her sons are currently leaders in the Group. She has helped with Beaver Scouts since the colony started in 1995.
