About Mark Eastman

Mark started his scouting as a Cub Scout has worked his way through the sections and whilst a Venture Scout gained his Queen Scout Award. He was a member of the National Scout & Guide Symphony Orchestra between 1985 & 1990, playing in London, Bristol & the Albert Hall. He also toured with the Orchestra to France, Germany, Austria & USA. In the summer of 1991 he went and worked as River Guide at the Boy Scouts of America's Maine National High Adventure Base leading Whitewater expeditions. He was also during this time an Assistant Venture Scout Leader, later becoming a member of Crawley District Scout Fellowship. He has supported 2nd Ifield Venture Scouts / Explorer Scouts on a number of International Expeditions. Mark is a BCU Level 2 coach in both Canoe and Kayak.
