2nd Ifield River Trip

On Saturday 18th August, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders from 2nd Ifield paddled from Pulborough to Stopham Bridge. Over the summer, a number of the Scouts and Explorers have been working towards their British Canoeing One Star and this river trip forms a part of this training. St George’s Day Celebrations

Sunday 22nd April saw members from the Group join members from the other Scout Groups in the town in Queen’s Square to celebrate Scouting’s patron saint, St George. St George’s Day Ball

Friday 20th April saw the Group hold its annual St George’s Day Ball. The evening was enjoyed by Parents, leaders and friends of the Group, which started with a three course meal followed by dancing late into the night. It was great evening of relaxing and socialising (along with a small amount of funds being raised).

41st National Scouts Shooting Championships

Over the weekend of Sat 21st and Sun 22nd October 2017, 25 members of 2nd Ifield and Drake ESU took part in the National Scout Shooting Championships at Bisley and shoot against over 700 competitors.  Over what was a very wet and extremely windy weekend the squad came away with 8 medals/trophies including:- Liam S – 1st in Senior …
